What is NJPAC Arts Education Program?

• The fourth largest arts education program in the nation, providing various programs for children (ages 3-18), families, and schools, serving over 105,000 people each season;

• A series of partnerships between NJPAC and New Jersey school districts, enabling schools to incorporate art, cultural performances and arts education into daily classroom experiences;

• Over 150 performances annually by internationally known artists with expertise in communicating the freedom and joy of artistic expression to young people ages 3 to 18;


• Artist-in-Residence Programs that allow New Jersey students to experience the performing arts through close interaction with professional artists in their schools;

• Professional development workshops for educators, where educators spend a day at NJPAC, participating in interactive workshops, collaborating with professional artists, networking with colleagues, and discovering techniques for integrating
the arts into daily classroom instruction;

• A variety of programs designed to instruct and guide talented students from throughout New Jersey in the disciplines of acting, music, vocal performance, dance, and other performing arts.
