Placemaking for Change: Non-Traditional Models of Community Revitalization, was held at the University of Virginia, School of Architecture. The Forum was hosted by Karen Van Lengen, Dean of the School of Architecture at the University of Virginia and Maurice Cox, Associate Professor of Architecture and former mayor of Charlottesville. The Bruner Foundation and the Loeb Fellowship Program designed this program with the goal of presenting new approaches to community revitalization. The Forum examined the feasibility of a streetcar system between the University and downtown Charlottesville, and several other issues.
